Za’atari Refugee Camp invitation
How do you inspire a select group of donors to give extra support to people in a refugee camp? Oxfam needed an irresistible invitation to a fundraising evening inspired by the food, culture and daily life of Syrian refugees in Za’atari Camp in Jordan. The solution was a roll-fold landscape mailer which opens to reveal a panoramic camp view overlaid with a dramatic invitation to “Discover”. The design’s sunny colours reflect the spirit that sustains the camp's residents. Accompanying materials included compliments slips, cards, a take-home booklet and a digital invitation, which together helped the event raise over £218,000 to support Syrian refugees.
